Allyssa's 3rd Grade Spring Pictures

 

Allyssa was so pleased with herself that she kept her glasses on in this school photo... I didn't find out until I opened the picture packet....
3rd grade has gone pretty good all in all, Allyssa's worked very hard and has maintained straight A's... We are Very Proud of her.
I cannot believe that in a month school will be out for the SUMMER!!!! Another successful school year, Praise God!

HAPPY EASTER 2010

Easter Weekend we spent in Ramsey at Mom and Dad's.... lots of visiting as Aunt Debbie and Uncle Rick, Brad and Liz were there overnight Fri.
Then on Sun. the Easter Bunny had left Ally's goodies and she found them, then off to Church, and back to Gma and Gpa's for dinner and egg hunt! Once again, didn't get pictures before church, or of egg hunt... but We Did have a Good Time... hated having to leave to head back to P. Bluff... But Ally had school on Monday!

Rodney Hannah and Arlie Come Visit!!!

My brother Rodney and Hannah and Arlie came down here for the weekend! We had sooo much fun, and it was soo nice to have them here... but this is one of those missed "picture Perfect" moments... there were sooo many opportunities w/ the kids playing outside, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, and playing w/ the neighbors... but... I just took it all in w/ out going to get my camera!
The kids would take a break from playing outside and come in and watch their favorite "Gohstbusters" .... Allyssa is Egon..Hannah is Peater... and Arlie is Winston... their spelling not mine! :)
Rodney and Arlie played several games of air hockey, w/ Arlie Winning Always... but after each game they shook hands and told eachother good Game! It was cute!
Sunday before they had to pack up and go home we colored Easter Eggs! That was Fun!
I'm sooo glad that Rodney took time out to come down and stay with us... We Sooo Appreciate it, and Loved Every Minute of it!!!

It's Good to have Neighbors!!!

We had to get a couple overgrown shrubs pulled out cause they'd just gotten outta control... it was no time at all and the neighbor kids were over helping!!! Now we gotta find some to replace them....

More Family Fun...In Ramsey

We made it to Ramsey from the Magic House early evening! We Love going back "Home" and spending time w/ family! It was nice outside so we were able to go for a long walk..well .. some of us cheated and rode the Kubota..but then made up for it by playing ball with the kids when we got back to Gma and Gpa's.... Another Wonderful Weekend!!

3rd Grade Field Trip, Magic House...St.Louis, MO

Fun times... got up at 6 a.m. to be at school by 6:30 a.m., Allyssa got to ride the "Big" Busses to St. Louis, which is about 2 hrs. and 45 min. from here, Bob took a vacation day from work to go with me so that afterwards we could drive on to Ramsey and spend the weekend! Bob and Princess(our dog) stayed outside and in our car the entire time we were in the magic house... not sure how much fun they had.. but Bob says it's better than being inside there w/ 200 3rd graders.. hmmm he might have a point!

1st Place Girls Valentine Box Goes to Allyssa!!!!

At Oak Grove Elementary school, the 3rd grade has a contest for the BEST Valentine's Day Box... they parade through the classrooms and the students pick a Boy and a Girl Box from each class.
Allyssa and her dad worked on this paper mache' Bee, for about a week! And it earned Ally a First Place! There were alot of neat Boxes and the Mrs Taylor did a wonderful job of Presenting each student with unique awards for their Box! Then they had their classroom party with lots of Candy and crafts! I'm sooo glad that I am able to attend her school functions and be a part of them w/ her! FUn, Fun, Fun!!!

3 Months Along

 

I started showing and kept on growing...so much faster with this baby than I did with Allyssa! Makes me wonder if I am going to get alot bigger with this one or if it will level out sometime soon :) Praying for a Healthy Baby and for all to go well !!!!

It's Been Tooooo.... LONG!!!!

I'm going to give a huge effort here to get caught back up w/ my blog... I'm sooo sad that I've let alot of "picture perfect" moments go uncaptured... but I do have a few that I've caught and I will try to get them uploaded today... the others I will just have to narrate from memory!!!! (which isn't the most reliable these days... I might add)
Time is flying by.... I looked back at my blog and the last post was from Jan. and there was SNOW... crazy..after spending a wonderful weekend having fun in the SUN...so I figured it's time to get up to date..well that and a "little" encouragement from my Mom and Liz... and a few others who were so kind to add to my mom's post on facebook....
OKAY... so where to start...???
BABY UPDATE: After finding out right after Chrismas that we are expecting a baby, the next few months were a little rough... nothing too severe but let's just say I didn't have a whole lot of "extra" energy, and wasn't feeling the greatest... But We SURVIVED!!!
Feb. was the turning point, I started having more energy and wasn't as nauseous! Yeah!!!
Then at my dr. appt. in March, Allyssa and Bob joined me for the sonogram... And we were able to see that we are having Another Baby Girl....!!!!!! That was very Exciting... Bob only asks that we get a "boy" dog for Christmas at least..because he is Way outnumbered here!!! Allyssa is extremely happy for a Sister, and after "seeing" her that day she has became alot more interested in my "belly"... talking to her and telling me how fat my belly is... and she is even considering making the playroom the baby's room now, instead of having the baby sleep in the garage so she can keep her playroom, as was the plan from the get go... :) I think Allyssa is going to come around, and be a Great Big Sister, she says that if the baby wakes up at 5 a.m. and is crying I can wake Ally up and she will sing to her, But if she's Tired she might tell me to come back at 7 a.m. and wake her...:)
All in All, everything is going GREAT and we Are Soooo Very Blessed... I go for a dr. appt. tomorrow so I'm sure I will be updating on Baby Girl very soon!
