Awesome Pumpkin....

Allyssa was invited over to her friend Mycah's house yesterday to join Mycah's family in carving pumpkins... She had a ton of fun, and made an awesome looking pumpkin! Thanks So Much to the Shupe's for including Allyssa in this fun Family Day!!

Allyssa had a little help with cleaning out the pumpkin's inside...but as for the carving.. she did it mostly on her own!

TANG SOO DO

Allyssa started Tang Soo Do in Feb. of this year with a plain White Belt. She earned her White w/ Green Stripe on May 3, 2012! Only 3 months! Way to Go Allyssa!!!!

When she first started Tang Soo Do I had no idea that there was a correct way of tying these belts, so I just double knotted it.. well let's just say it's a little more complicated than that!!! It took us several classes to get it right! And actually Allyssa is the one that caught on... I'm still Struggling!

We had no idea that tonight was the night that she was going to receive her belt... I stayed home with Adilynn and Daddy took you.. as you can see him in the background!! He didn't even have a phone or camera to take pictures, we are sooo Thankful to Mr. Boxx for having someone take these pics and text them to me so we could have them!

It took her 3 months to move up from White w/ Green Stripe to Orange! Way to Go Again, Allyssa!!! Keep up the Hard Work!! Again, you can see her White w/ Green stripe belt folded at her feet!
So very proud of you Allyssa, Your technique is very good and your instructors have told me how impressed they are with you, and what a Great Student you are!

Love It!!! And little Sister Adilynn even tries to do Tang Soo Do... it's hilarious! I'll have to try and get a video of her and post it in the future!

Allyssa's favorite part of Tang Soo Do class is sparring... they put on their protective gear and let loose!! It's mostly boys in her class but she is alot taller than them.. and she sure does kick butt!!! It's alot of fun to watch!!! My favorite part of Allyssa learning Tang Soo Do is the selft discipline it teaches and the self defense she is learning!

Couldn't Love 'Em More if They Were My Own...

Tabba... You Made me an Aunt for the first time... and your kiddos have made me a Great Aunt!!! Thank You Thank You!!!Watching you Grow into a Beautiful Young Woman, and becoming a Mommy, now for the second time, has been Awesome. I am sooo Proud of You! I Miss spending time with you, I still remember calling over to your Gma and Gpa Carter's to see if you could come over and play.. Pretty Pretty Princess will always be a fond memory! You have a Lovely Family and I wish you all the Happiness in the World! I Love You Tabitha!!

Jenna Dawn... You're a Senior!!! WOW!! You are my First Newborn Niece!! I have Loved you from the day you were born and was sooo Proud to be Your Aunt, over the Years you've continued to make me Even More Proud in all that you do and all that you are! Scott Carter... My First Nephew!!! I absolutely Love your personality.. always joking around and that giggle you have.. Priceless!! Hannah Lea... You were like my twin daughter to Allyssa.. only being 10 months apart, we spent alot of time together!! You are a sweetie! I have the Most fun watching you two cousins interact, and I sooo Miss that we don't have those times as often as we used to! We think about you everyday Hannah, and are so Proud of You! You are Beautiful and I want you to know Aunt Heather is here for you Always!! Love ya Always Hannah Bananna!!!!

Benjamin Big Boy Arlie Hunt... Wow you probably don't even remember that you used to say that was your name!!! You have grown so much so fast!! My Heart melts with your smile! I LOVE seeing you happy, and I like to torment you alot! You're a hoot!! Always Remember Aunt Heather Loves you and I'm here for you!!! I Love You Arlie Boy!!!!!

Rachel Lynn... you were only 6 years old when you came into my life! You have grown into a beautiful young Woman! The one memory that always comes to my mind when I think about you is our camping trip... you told me you would stay right there and wait for me... and as I am flushing the toilet out the door you go... well we've had our share of ups and downs but know that your dad and I are always here for you and we miss you! Study Hard in College, Be safe and Have Fun! we Love You!

Christopher James... Wow you were like 10 when I first met you.. and now look at ya! Remember telling me that your dad was dating the "wendy's" girl... and telling me you hated me the first time you met me.. although that was a shocker.. I've always known where I stand with you! Now why is it that both my kiddos have their mouths wide open screaming something no doubt and Miss Summer Ann and Miss Hannah both have the cutest smiles!! I'm telling ya these pictures really do capture their true personalities!! Gotta Love IT!!!

My Beautiful Two Year Old Baby Girl....

Adilynn Marie... OH,How you've changed our lives!!!! There's not enough room on this blog, or the right words to even begin to describe all the ways.. so Just know that You Are a BLESSING!!! You are constantly on the Go.. and I do mean constantly.. Always..ALWAYS in to something!!! You have fallen off our couch more times than I can even keep track of, because you refuse to just sit down on it!! You use your bed more for jumping than sleeping! Of course, Mommy and Daddy's bed is for sleeping, right.. about 3 a.m. every morning anyway!! You've already had your head split open because you pulled the stocking holder off the mantle last christmas..should of had stitches but the doctor had to just glue it because your pediatrician knows you and knew it would take an army to try and hold you down... you could of gotten the flu mist this year but had to get the actual shot because once again the dr. knew that it was hard telling where the mist would end up by the time you kicked and squirmed and hit as they came at you with the mist! So yep.. You are physically Strong and Definately Strong Willed!!! But you are just sooo Darn Cute!!! You are way tooo busy to eat... and when you do eat on the run you like Chocolate Donuts, chips, banannas, apples, chocolate granola bars, turkey lunch meat, sometimes hot dogs, peanut butter sandwhich, sweet potatoe baby food, pudding, "power drink" (which is your pediasure, cause you are so tiny and don't eat veggies), "cappudy" (capri sun) somehow you started calling it that a mix between capri and pudding? In all honesty if I put your food in the dog bowl or in the trash I think you would eat anything... and I've seriously considered buying you your own dog bowl to eat out of on the kitchen floor by the trash! You love to draw.. just not on paper yet... On My newly painted hallway walls and your bedroom walls and picture canvas!!! You are a Talker.. Non stop... and you repeat anything and everyone! You Love to talk about spongebob!! And tell any stranger we meet about Spongebob! Mickey Mouse clubhouse, Octanauts, Bubble Guppies, and Spongebob are your favorite tv shows. You already know how to use an Ipad and Iphone! You can count to 12.. You are working on learning your colors. You Love your babydolls but don't want any clothes on them! You love to call Gammaw with or without mommy's help! and a few other contacts in my phone! You love to be outside, running around and jumping on the trampoline! You love dogs, TJ.. Bella and Daisy(our neighbors dogs) and Princess (poor princess.. you torture her) So yep you are very much an overactive two year old!!! I don't get much time to write down all you have accomplished or take many pictures of you because I'm usually getting you down off the dining room table, or off the kitchen island, or away from the dog, or outta the dog food, or out of my jewelry box, or outta the bathroom cabinets, etc... and you definitly won't pose for a photo... just no time for that! But you definitly brighten my days.. some days more than others!!! I haven't quite figured out how to discipline you.. time outs worked well for awhile, you would sit right down and not try to get up.. but that got old fast and you don't much want to sit in time out.. you would rather put me in time out! Spankings don't much phase you, you just go ahead and do whatever it is your not suppose to do and then stick your bum out and put your hand over it and say k Mom beat my bum!!! You Absolutely melt my heart when you sing I love you you love me we're a happy family.. and twinkle twinkle!! and when you tell me I Love you too!! Which you do quite often in a days time!! You give the best hugs, patting my back and squeezing!! Lately you've been saying "oh mamma" alot and it really cracks me up!! You are such a smart little girl Adilynn and Mommy loves you with all my heart.. and although you are no longer a baby you will always be this momma's beautiful baby girl! <3 ya!

6th grade 11 years old...

Allyssa Ann Marie... just where has the time gone? You have grown sooo much in the last 6 months alone. You are wearing my shoes as our feet are the same size for now.. but you're soon to outgrow mine!! 6th grade has been fun for you, in the fact that you are the "Top Dogs" at your school!! You really think you're big stuff! You are doing very well with your schoolwork but find story writing and essays a challenge for you putting your thoughts into words..Keep working and you'll do fine! I am so proud of you in so many areas of your life... you overcome alot of obstacles in one days time... many of which no one even realizes... I know life is hard but don't let it get you down.. Keep your head high, be yourself, and know that you are never left alone to go through anything.. I am always here and You can Always turn it all over to God and He'll take it! You were pretty bummed that you couldn't play soccer this fall. I'm sorry and know it was a huge disappointment as you really enjoy the game. I missed watching you hussle and have fun also! But with your stomach issues and difficulty catching your breath while running, and the fact that we would be gone every night of the week if we added soccer to your already busy schedule, I just didn't feel like we needed to try it this year. I am proud of how you've handled this disappointment and I Thank You for that! Tang Soo Do is going very well! I am so impressed with how fast you learn all the different techniques... You are an Orange Belt now and hoping that you get picked to go to a tournament in Dec. Keep up the hard work and I know you will go far with this! At one time you thought you would like to become a Master after you get your black belt! I assure you that you CAN do whatever it is you Dream of... if you Put your Mind to IT!!! You are an amazing Person!! We have fallen behind in your AWANA scripture memorizing, and you are really wanting to get the Timothy award at the end of this season (May) for completing all 4 books in T & T series... once again.. if you are willing to work at it... I will help you and we can get back on track for it!! You still have a passion for acting... you did drama camp again this summer and you and your friends are ALWAYS making up skits and performing for us, or videoing yourselves... Although this is just for fun.. I see alot of potential and talent.. (we always knew you were a DRAMA QUEEN!!) But I will have to say the one constant in your likes has ALWAYS been SINGING!! You are always singing, I love to hear you sing, and I love to see how happy it makes you! You have been in honor choir last year and again this year! Again, you consider it just a feel good thing, but there's alot of talent there! Sing Your Heart out Sweetie! You are an AMAZING big sister to Adilynn, and I promise you she does adore you.. even though it Always "stop it Sissa".. or "no Allyssa" remember she's two!!! I Thank You for all you do to help out with her, and being so patient and giving (sometimes too much so.. she's got to learn that she doesn't ALWAYS get her way) but there's no better mommy moment than watching the two of you bonding, it melts this momma's heart! As for me and you Allyssa we are at a challenging time in our Mother/Daughter relationship! But I know you Love Me and You must Always remember that No Matter What I Love you and Always Will!!! You have so many wonderful qualities that I have no doubt you are growing up to be an Amazing Adult... but some of those strong willed ways make parenting difficult.. Life gets hectic, I get pulled in several directions, frustration levels rise, we all get overwhelmed, we all fall short of how we should treat others.. some days our home is complete chaos..and lots of yelling... but we will get through this! Just Remember this too shall pass... but hopefully in the midst of the chaos the strength of our family and the love we have for one another outshines the rest! That's my prayer anyway! Go forward working on our weeknesses and Letting our Strengths guide us! I Love you with all my heart Allyssa, and yes you'll always be my Baby Girl, even though you are my oldest and no matter how embarrassing it is to you! <3 ya Girl!
