Nordyne Baby Shower for Adilynn

Nordyne, which is where Bob works, gave us a baby shower for Adilynn, I know... really nice of them.. Huh.. They have been absolutely Wonderful to Bob and our Family! Makes the sacrifice of moving 4 hours away from family a bit more tolerable when Bob is happy with his job and the people there are sooo generous and thoughtful to not only Bob...but his family as well!
We met them at the Bread Co. after work and had dinner, and then opened presents. Allyssa even got "Big Sister" gifts.. how thoughtful for them to think of her too. And Adilynn got some toys and a gift card so I was able to purchase the last minute things I hadn't got around to doing yet! We really appreciated them doing this for us..not many companies would! Thanks Nordyne!

Uncle Rodney, Hannah and Arlie gave Allyssa a package of tattoos as part of their bday present.. and I just Love this one.. so maybe if I ever get another tattoo I just might use this design and have Allyssa and Adilynn's names with it... sooo what do ya think????

Family Birthday Party

Allyssa was determined to spend her actual birthday in Illinois with Family...Sooo we did. We enjoyed visiting, opening presents, the kids played and later was able to swim in gpa and gma's pool! Fun Times!

Skate City Birthday Party

Early 9th Birthday Party in Poplar Bluff

 

 

Allyssa had an early 9th Birthday party here in Poplar Bluff at Skate City with our neighborhood friends! Before anyone even showed up Allyssa said it was the Best Birthday Ever, because she got to roller blade under the disco ball out in the middle of the skate floor.. usually there's too many people for her to get to the middle, she stays by the wall when that many people are skating.. so the Pressures off it's Already the Best Birthday EVER!! LOL

This just makes me sick... it was suppose to be a video of Allyssa birthday song parade at skate city... well it didn't download right.. okay that happens, but I thought all my videos from my camera were on my computer..sooo I deleted them off my memory card on my camera..well guess what.. they weren't on my computer, it was just reading them from the memory card..so poof... GONE... I have deleted like 20 videos that I just loved... and this being one of them...
I am just really really really Sad right now :(

Once again Dad and Mom, You've went far and beyond what's expected... Thanks so much for making this Vacation happen for your Kids and Grandkids!! And for All of your help with the little ones while we were there!!! Thanks goes out to Rodney too for providing the lodging! It was a Wonderful Time with Family that tons of memories were made! Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!
I've always enjoyed "Family Time" and especially now that I don't live just down the road from you all, it really means alot for us to get together! When we make it back to Ramsey, it's difficult to get to everyone's homes, and I am sooo Thankful that Mom and Dad are so generous in having us pile in on their home, and sooo thankful that Rodney, Scott, Jennifer, and all my nieces and nephews make it a point to stop in and see us while we're there! You'll never know how much I appreciate it and How much it means to me!! So this Branson Vacation was an added Bonus for Most all of us to be able to spend a few days in row together, doing FUN stuff or doing nothing at all... it was GREAT!!! I have the Best Parent's in the World!!! I have the Best Husband in the World!!! I have the Best Daughter in the World!!!! I have the Best Brothers in the World!!! I have the Best Nieces and Nephews in the World!!! And Jennifer... Yes you too.. I have the Best Sister-in-Law in the World!!! My Family... I am Truly BLESSED... Love ya All... and Thanks for Everything!

Those Good-Byes Hurt... Hannah and Allyssa just cling to eachother in a bear hug for the longest time and just Don't let go!!! It tugs at my heart each and every time!

So Hope that Mom and Dad enjoyed this trip as much as we did.. it was sooo good spending time with them and watching them with the grandkids... They are Truly the Best Parents and Grandparent's anyone could ask for!! Love..Love.. Love them!!!

 

I know this trip was tough on my Brother.. He had his hands full keeping up with two kids... but he did it!!! I sooo enjoyed rooming with them and watching the kiddos play together and at bedtime watching them snuggle up together to rest up for the next day!! Thanks Rodney and Family for the Wonderful Memories!! Love Ya All!

 

So glad that Scott's family was able to join us sooner than they thought at first...sooo enjoyed Jenna and Carter as they got wound up and had fun... made some mem's with Scott on way to ER and at the ER of all places..but still... Wish we had more time together, I so miss u all and Enjoy every second I get to spend with u all..Love ya Later!! and Bunches and Bunches!

It's Coming to an End, Check out was at 10 a.m. soo today was mostly just waking up, packing up, and loading everything!! Time goes by way to FAST!!! What a Great Time we've had!

We didn't make it home for Father's Day since only a few days later we would all be in Branson together... and then Dad's Birthday is the day after we leave Branson sooo we just decided to Celebrate it all in Branson...but it got hectic with everything and everyone.. and so we ended up just giving him his cards and presents and not doing cake and everything... Sooo sorry Dad.. it's not that you're not thought of.. it's just your crazy family gets tooo busy trying to keep up with these little ones and all...LOL... Glad we had this time together though and Wishing Dad Many Many More Birthday's.. and a Happy Father's Day to the Best Dad/Grandpa EVER!! We Love You More than You'll Ever KNOW!!! :)

Even More Family Fun...at 2nd Branson Resort

Big Cedar Lodge is where we wanted to stay the entire time but they were booked the first two days of our trip..this place was really nice, it had lazy river, an indoor pool, waterslide, hottub... down from our rooms and then up from our rooms there were 2 more pools outside.... The kids had a BLAST!!! At Dark they had movie night at the pool so you could swim and watch the movie at the same time...very neat... but the sound wasn't working right, so while the others kept swimming Allyssa couldn't hear the movie so Bob, Allyssa and I went down to where the screen was and watched! Such a Good Time!

Grandpa and Grandma took the kids to their room and fed them supper while the rest of us were grilling steaks for the adults... and as I went to see if Bob needed any help at the grill he was doubled over..head between his knees with a terrible pain in his back, but he said he'd be alright... well...after supper it still was hurting and just kept getting worse sooo at 10 p.m. Me and Scott are taking Bob to the ER while Rod, Mom and Jenna get the kids to bed... Didn't take long at the ER for them to diagnose Bob's problem... a Kidney Stone... and we are almost sure that it passed into his bladder on the way to the hospital because he was rolling around in the back seat of Scott's truck in Sooo much Pain... anyway, all was well after IV and passing the stone completely before being discharged! And Scott was entertained the entire time in the waiting room by a newlywed couple...oh the things he heard and witnessed!!! So appreciate Scott taking us and for the others helping w/ the kids... so much for rest and relaxation on vacation...Believe me Bob has been given a fairly hard time about it!! LOL Just Thankful it didn't last too long and he was feeling better right away..

What a Day!!!! Everyone decided to go their own ways today and do whatever it was they so desired... So we were off... Bob, Allyssa and I first went to the Titanic Museum... that was very interesting and Allyssa really liked it... her favorites were feeling an actual iceburg... sticking her finger in water that was the same temp. as the water when the titanic sank... walking up the ramps they built that showed the angle of the deck as the titanic sank ( the first two were easy she said.. but she couldn't make it up the last one...too steep!!!) And of Course.. getting souveniers from the gift shop!!
From there we went through Ripley's Believe It or NOT... Very Neat..and Weird!!!
And THEN... The Helicopter Ride... that wasn't planned.. it just sorta Happened.. as we were leaving Ripley's a helicopter landed across the street and there was a sign that said tour Branson's Strip by Helicopter... and we had an hour before the Chinese Acrobats show started..Soooo we Toured Branson's Strip by Helicopter! Whatta Ride!!! Lots of turbulance...and I had NO Door on my side... CRAZINESS!! Allyssa and Bob rode in the back and I was next to the pilot up front! Thank God it was ONLY a 5 minute Ride... Long enough to say we did it and back on the ground Safe and Sound!
After calming down we went to the Chinese Acrobats show... AMAZING... We all really enjoyed their show..
And then we met up with the others at the 2nd resort we stayed at in Branson! Spent Some time catching up on what eachother did that day... Rodney, Hannah and Arlie went to Silver Dollar city... Scott's family rode go-carts...went sight seeing... and shopping... Mom and Dad went sight seeing.... so we all enjoyed our day!

I had to go back to our room to lay down and put my feet up..but the others enjoyed playing miniature golf together! So Thankful that Bob and my Mom took pictures so I could enjoy them and share them as well...Thanks so Much! :)

Ride the Ducks

Our Family before we Rode the Ducks!!

A little Allyssa Humor to share with you.... When we were deciding what everyone wanted to do.. and I suggested Riding the Ducks... Allyssa wasn't so sure about it.. come to find out, she thought they were Real Live Ducks!!! :) That's my Girl!


We were a little nervous what This Ride was going to be like... but it ended up just fine, it was actually entertaining for the kids as well as the adults! Before entering the water they went over all the safety precautions/instructions... and then gave us a choice.. we could go into the water 1 of 3 ways... #1 Like a Turtle...#2 Like a Duck...or #3 Like the Dukes of Hazards(but if you ask Allyssa what #3 was, she thinks he said like a Miniature Snauchzer)...Hazards..Snauchzer do they really sound that much alike??? Anyway...EVERYONE yelled #3 Dukes of Hazards...and I'm like Hey doesn't a pregnant lady get to vote.. and honestly I was a little nervous.. but it really wasn't bad at all.. Once on water they let the kids drive, so of course Allyssa had her turn, but Hannah and Arlie didn't want to.. We made it back on land and back to where we started without anything major happening... so It was All Good! But after being back home for a couple of weeks I read where one of the Ducks in Philedelphia had a terrible accident out on the water the engine died and caught fire, they put the fire out but got hit by a barge..and a number of people died...Very Tragic.. I can now say I've ridden the Ducks... Once and ONLY ONCE!!!

Our First Outing was going to this Fish place... it was soooo HOT outside and walking on the Black Asphalt wasn't too refreshing...but it was a neat place, and the kids really had a good time feeding the fishies!! Sorry for the complaining...just keep in mind..i'm 7 months Pregnant... :)

Rodney, Hannah and Arlie, Bob, Allyssa, and I all roomed together, and Mom, Dad, Scott, Jennifer, Jenna and Carter all roomed together next door, so everyone gathered in our room for Breakfast and some family down time before getting our day started!

Our first night we just stayed indoors and the kids had sooo much fun in that closet playing w/ a ball...throwing it against the wall and letting it come back and see which one of them would get hit with it...yeah I know.. we drove all the way to Branson for them to have FUN doing that!!! lol... Dad and Mom were the only ones that ventured out..they went to see Noah's Ark, and Loved it! Scott and his family decided to leave that night so they got to Branson around 11:00 p.m.!
