Silly Girl!!!

Allyssa came up to me after being by the fire and she'd been running around playing and she was complaining about being too HOT... next thing she's coming out of garage w/ the cooler and gets in it... THEN she figured it out... it's not the cooler by itself that's cool.... you need ICE in it.... DUH where does she get it??? HMMM....

What a good Daddy... after supper he built a fire and roasted smores for Allyssa and of course then some of the neighbor kids as well!!!

Oak Grove School Play Day 2010

End of the Year Fun! I think Allyssa's favorite part was getting her face painted.. she had a bee painted on her cheek... then she was painted like a puppy dog... then she washed up and went back to be painted like a Bunny!!!! She had orange hair!! She won the sailboat race and the Hit the Beach Relay Race... she was back to the finish line before the other girl even got all of her supplies on... Enjoy this video.. Special Times... working on Adilynn Marie's Room with My MOM!!

Yes... We've decided on a name for our Precious Little Girl that will be arriving in about 90 days or so....Adilynn Marie... She will be named after her Sisters, Rachel Lynn and Allyssa Ann Marie! We are sooo very excited! The next project after putting the naming behind us was to get the nursery ready..soooo
My Parents came for a few days visit with us and I put them to work!!! I sooo appreciated their help and it meant the World to Me to be able to work together on Adilynn's room with My Mom!! We accomplished alot but still have some finishing touches to do.. and of course the final Big Item... Will be when Adilynn is finally here to enjoy it!
I sooo enjoyed our time while my parent's were here, but of course everything can't go as Planned.. Mom was planning on going to my dr.s appt. with me to see the Sonogram on Tues... and they had to leave on Thur. for appts. they had back home..well after being told the dr. was running 6 hrs. behind on Tues. so we probably wouldn't be getting in until 9 p.m.....at 7p.m. the call came that we had to reschedule due to the dr. being in an emergency..and the rescheduled appt. was Fri. at 3:30 p.m..... the Day AFTER they had to leave :( Such a BUMMER...but after few minutes of feeling sorry for ourselves that it didn't work out..we decided there will be another time and we should Pray for the Emergency!!
So Sorry it didn't work out for Mom to see the Sonogram, but their visit was still a good One.. and I am Sooo Thankful that they take time out to come see us and help out in sooo many ways!
Friday's appt. was good, all is going like it should, she was almost 2 lbs. and the dr. commented several times on what long legs she has! I heard her heartbeat, loud and strong, and Allyssa was there to see her little sister moving all around!
Life is GOOD!!!

Thank You God... For Giving Me a Precious Daughter

Since Allyssa's AWANA race was the day before Mother's day this year, we celebrated Mother's day with Mom the weekend before....soooo that meant Sunday, actual Mother's Day was spent in Poplar Bluff away from the rest of my family but with My So So Sweet Daughter, Allyssa whom made My Day Sooo VERY SPECIAL!!!!
I didn't quite get breakfast "in Bed" ... but I did get "BREAKFAST" which consisted of M&M's, Fruit Snacks, and a piece of gum on a paper plate prepared and carried to me on the Couch by Allssa! She was soooo proud! As she should be... that's my Kind of Breakfast!
She also had given me an apron that she decorated at school, which I just LOVE!! And a dozen or so wonderfully hand made cards she gave me throughout the week!!!
We spent alot of Mommy and Allyssa time outside watching her ride her new Electric Scooter... during this time we took a video and gave a shout out to Gma for a Happy Mother's Day... we had snuggle time on the couch watching movies and cartoons... and we also got to talk with Gma/Mom on the phone!!
Although it wasn't the same being away from the rest of my family...And we Truly Missed them... Me and My Daughter had a Wonderful Day together...and She made sure I had a Really Great Mother's Day... I am Soooo BLESSED!!!

AWANA Grand Prix 2010

Another Fun Race Day!!!! Allyssa's car lost the first race so Allyssa decided to set her car on the track backwards for the next race.... And She WON... so for the rest of the races BACKWARDS it was...with Success.. but in the end she didn't receive a trophy for speed :( But all was well with a Third Place finish in Design!!

This little turtle made its way around our neighborhood while its owner was out of town. Allyssa loved having it for 3 nights and then when we left for Illinois we dropped it off next door for them to have a turn also!!!!
